Whether individual or institutional, emotional or ideological, there is simply no good reason for racism to still exist. Our institutions, religions and governments have evolved to the point where we no longer (officially) advocate racism. Now, we need to do three things: 1) Change the practices that support it, and 2) Undo the wrongs caused by it, and 3) Help defuse the emotions that keep it alive. Two boys
Racism is a socialized construct, shaped by a number of ideological, emotional and experiential influences. The Human Harmony Project is on the leading edge of practice-driven research that not only identifies the roots of racism, but also the levers that can be used to address it.
