How did this project come about?
While this project officially got off the ground this year, its origin goes way back to our founder's childhood. Read more about where the dream came from here. Link to why this, why now piece

What are the goals of this project?
We want to do more than simply have events and broadcast media - we want to have an impact. The following seven goals are milestones that will allow is to know that we are doing that:
1. Help 1 Million people move at least one level on the Tolerance Continuum
2. Reverse the trend of growing hate crimes, leading to a 10% reduction
3. Enlist 1,000 diverse religious leaders to work with others in their communities
4. Engage 10,000 students in issues related to tolerance and harmony
5. Help 100 communities change the dynamic of their culture
6. Expose 10 Million people to media messages that reduce hate and promote harmony
7. Connect 10,000 people together who want to continue promoting harmony beyond November 16th.

Are donations tax deductible?
Yes they are. We are a California registered non profit corporation, with 501c3 status.

What is your policy on religious diversity?
We are a multi-faith organization that believes in the power of faith and religion to strengthen individuals and serve and support the world. We honor and embrace all faiths that share in this common vision and who can extend the utmost honor and respect for others – even if our religious views differ. We impose no belief standards – accepting, exclusive, inclusive, fundamentalist, pluralistic, orthodox, esoteric, syncretistic, universal, and non-theistic faith paths are all welcome. Our only stipulations are: That you hold your point of view with humility, realizing that no one is as right as they would like to think that they are, and Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Respect them, listen to them, honor them, support them, and work with them.

We believe that even in matters of faith, diversity is a good thing, and that if we are humble, there is much that can be learned from one another.
